A Fashion Designer and a University Professor …
Born in 1967 in Ohrid, Republic of Macedonia. He started in the early 1990`s as a freelance designer and during his career released many collections at the fashion fair `Modest` in Skopje, also participated in international fashion festivals including some in Romania, Latvia, Sicily, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Between 2002 and 2004, he created the first designer-brand in Macedonia entitled `COLLECTION` by Nikola Buleski in association with Damatex. He moved to Mattis in 2004 where he launched the brand Mattis by Bule and presented his first shearing fur collection. The collections of fur accessories he designed together with Mattis, received an overwhelmingly positive response at the fashion fairs around Germany and USA.
During the academic year 2004-2005, he completed the studies of Pattern-making and Production Programme at the prestigious Istituto Marangoni in Milan, Italy. In 2006 he founded his own studio and launched his own proprietary brand. The first collection under the `Nikola Buleski Bule` brand was released at Skopje Fashion Week 2007; subsequently he announced the forthcoming of a new `Black Label` collection. His first collection under the name of `Black label` was introduced at the Sarajevo Fashion Week, November 2007. His latest `Black Label` collection was released on May 5, 2008 in Bitola, Macedonia which also featured in the Sarajevo Fashion Week 2008 on May 15, 2008.
Since February 2008 he has been teaching pattern-making at the Faculty of Art and Design at the European University in Skopje - Republic of Macedonia. He is a member of the `Macedonian Fashion Formation`, an association of fashion designers in Macedonia.
