Aleksandra Mijalkova was born in Skopje in 1973. Completed elementary and high school education in `Ilija Nikolovski – Luj` Skopje Music and Ballet Center with ballet pedagogue Gjurgjica Jovanovska. Graduated at `Ukrainian Academy of dance - Kiev faculty of choreography at the International Slavic University`, department of Ballet pedagogue - Repetitor for classical ballet. Aleksandra Mijalkova joined MOB Ballet in 1991 as ballet dancer and presented her great potential in the entire theater repertoire.
Her performances and characteristic brought her the title of prima ballerina. The individuality, sensibility, overwhelming the stage, and high professionalism characterize Mijalkova as a soloist. Part of her vast repertoire are: Odette and Odilia (`Swan Lake`), Giselle (`Giselle`), Kitri (`Don Quixote`), Medora (`Corsair`), Masha (`Nutcracker`), Zobeide (`Scheherezade`), Esmeralda (`Esmeralda`), Juliet (`Romeo and Juliet`), Ekaterina (`Ana Karenina`), Mazurka (`Chopiniana`), Bess (`Porgy and Bess`), Tashula (`Tashula`), Girl and IShtar (`Gilgamesh`), Girl (`Macedonian story`), Fiancée (`Songs of love and death`), Constanza Weber (`Golden Quil`), Red Woman (`Pink Floyd Revisited`), Soloist (`Naples`), Lenor (`Tango`), Girl (`Endless journey`), Neda (`Silyan flies again`), etc.
The participations at international concourses in Varna, Paris, Moscow, Belgrade, Novi Sad, as well the awards earned such as Golden Plaque in Novi Sad, and II place award at the Yugoslav ballet competition in Belgrade prove Mijalkova`s quality as prima-ballerina. Her performances were also abroad in: Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Turkey, England, Greece, Canada, Russia, and Ukraine.
