Iskra Shukarova
Iskra Shukarova is a soloist and a choreographer. She completed elementary and high school in Music and Ballet High School in Skopje, department of classical ballet. Iskra studied ballet at the Lion Conservatory in France. She graduated History of Arts and Archeology at the `Ss. Cyril and Methodius` University in Skopje and received her Masters degree in dances at Laban Center in London, UK.
Iskra Shukarova joined MOB Ballet in 1991 where she is engaged as distinguished soloist dancer and choreographer. She was appointed Artistic Director of the MOB Ballet in 2002. Choreographic projects: `Pastels`, `Inferno`, `Four Seasons`, `Endless journey`, `Four pictures in movement`, `LjB-2`, `Dance with me`, `Beyond the tangent`. Participation at courses and seminars in Brussels (Belgium), Vienna (Austria), New York (USA), Dresden (Germany), Bratislava (Slovakia), Bucharest (Rumania), Corfu (Greece). Guest performances in Varna and Sofia (Bulgaria), Budva (Montenegro), Belgrade (Serbia), London (UK), Athens and Thessalonica (Greece), etc.
