Folklore Ensemble `Goce Delchev` - Bitola
The Folklore Ensemble `Goce Delchev` from Bitola starts its activities in 1983, when was founded from the Association of the Macedonians from the Aegean part of Macedonia. This folklore ensemble by its quality and repertoire is unique and most rewarded ensemble in Macedonia.
Devoting to their gift from God and the artistic creativity and diving deeply in the originality and the rich Macedonian dance and song tradition, the children of this Ensemble, the artistic tandem of choreographers Branko Zezovski and Petre Krivcevski had made twelve entirely original and authentic choreographies and customs.
Choosing the style, with delicate deepness to the primeval folk dance gene, with very strong respect to the ethno detail and the impressive scene charm, the authorial tandem offers us one original and completely authentic program.
In this way, these folklore artists, together with the management whose leader is professor d-r Stefce Presilski and 350 more other people, make the long and unfinished chain of victories and rewards, and incorporate the message of the renowned man Goce Delchev:
`… We also understand the world solely as a field of cultural contest between the people.`
The program opus of the Ensemble generally is divided in two parts: authentic customs and stylized choreographies. They had won many rewards and gratitude between which more important are: the Plaque for Estrada and Folklore in the occasion of the manifestation `Person of the year` in 2004; the Plaque for biggest contribute in the folklore in the occasion of the manifestation the Most Popular in 2007; the 4-November reward of the city of Bitola in 2008.
Till today the Ensemble notes 712 shows, participating in superb cultural manifestations and festivals, during which they had fascinated many viewers and admirers of the folk culture. From the performances and shows around the world more important are the one in: Australia, Germany, Sweden, Great Britain, Austria, France, Poland, Turkey, Ukraine, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Albania, Croatia, Portugal, Spain, Egypt and many others.
