Kole Angelovski
Born in Skopje, 14.03.1943. He is a film, theater and television actor and director. He graduated in acting from the Academy for Theater, Film, Radio and Television in Belgrade. He was still a student in 1962 when he debuted as an actor in the Yugoslav film `Sasha` directed by Radenko Ostoic and he was awarded the `Debut Award` at the Film Festival in Pula (1963). At the same festival in 1965 he was also awarded the `Best Young Actor` award for his role in the film `To Come and Stay` directed by Branko Bauer.
Since 1967 he has worked in the Theater of Drama in Skopje. Angelovski directed two feature films. For his first film `Father` (We are Cursed, Irena), 1973 he was awarded the prestigious `Kokan Rakonjac` Award at the Film Festival in Pula. He also wrote the second film comedy `Weekend of Deceased Persons` and was awarded the `Gold Fish` Award for directing at the Film Comedy Festival in Golubac, Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. Angelovski has also directed numerous theater performances.
